Complex intervention for the removal of the failing Carrara marble (376 736 ft2), followed by the implementation of the whitest granit in the world, the Bethel White. The choice of this material to replace the failing white Carrara marble was made after a long study by a team of international experts. The Bethel White granite is, extracted in Vermont, at the frontier between the United States and Canada, by North-American group Polycor. The material was jointly selected by architect Paul Andreu and Valode & Pistre along with the heirs of Johan Otto Von Spreckelsen.
